Mulai signifies “Beginning” – The beginning of a new Project in a new life. This was an interesting project from the real beginning, when It was presented to me by Paolo Mantini along with Giovanni Bruni Zani, who produced the tracks.

I truly liked the first single, Saltiness, so listening to the music and putting it in a pixel form was for me a real blast! The vibe of the songs is chill and different from the usual genres, so we immediately agreed to do something super-hipster: desaturated color, black and white, meaningless symmetries and reflections, some grain here and there and so on…

For this one I designed the original logo, which resembles an origami: Mulai, beginning. This was an early idea of mine, but Giovanni ended up liking it.
